Produced from three small blocks at Pisoni Vineyards & Winery , the 2009 Lucia Chardonnay represents the Pisoni Family’s commitment to producing small lots of exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Santa Lucia Highlands of California's central coast.
The wine boasts a bright yellow-green color and a slight unfiltered haze. Floral, peachy and brioche aromas are succeeded by a rich palate of ripe orange, honeysuckle and stonefruit. The complexity of the fruit reflects the influence of the Wente clone, the extraordinary varietal type planted to this particular vineyard. 2009 Chardonnay Santa Lucia Highlands $40 |
